Roadpilot Micro Go

The Roadpilot Micro Go is a very small and versatile unit which gives you  a major advantage making it easy to place the little speed trap system in your car.

Power is supplied by a 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor which enters the Go unit on a mini USB connector.

The screen mount is simple in construction and allows the Go unit to slide in easy and clip home.

Set-up is fairly simple given that there aren't hundreds of options, this is good as the interface for changing settings on the Roadpilot unit is a single silver button under the small 42mm screen.

It involves multiple pushes and holds of the same button to work through the basic menu system, this sounds much worse than it really is and you soon become quite quick at flicking through the settings.

The Roadpilot Micro is a slim line version of the full blown Roadpilot, it features GPS based detection for all types of UK fixed speed traps including Gatso, Truvelo, Specs and Traffipax and measures just 47 x 49 x 12mm.

It works by comparing a database of UK speed camera locations with your cars current GPS location and providing a series of tailored warnings depending on your speed and direction.

When installed the Roadpilot Micro into your car and positioned the 1.8" screen within easy reach, apart from the main screen there is also a cradle in which the micro sits and an outboard GPS antenna, the whole thing cables together well.
